TECHNICAL GUIDE
Specify the duty. Then select the ceramic.
A practical checklist for an effective conversation about custom industrial components.
1. Describe the environment
Give continuous and peak temperature, ramp rates, dwell time, atmosphere and contact medium. A temperature alone does not describe the duty.
2. Define the mechanical task
Identify loads, support points, flow and wear surfaces. Note which faces are functional and which dimensions are critical.
3. Specify acceptance criteria
Include drawing revision, dimensional tolerances, surface requirements, quantity and inspection needs. Agree measurable criteria before manufacture.
Common questions
Can you manufacture a part from my drawing?
Yes. ITALKER develops custom ceramic parts from customer drawings, including mould design, forming, firing and CNC finishing where required.
Which materials do you offer?
Our industrial material families include 99.8% amorphous fused silica, ceramic-bonded silicon carbide, mullite and silico-aluminous refractory ceramics.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Send a dimensioned drawing with revision, required quantity, tolerances, operating temperature, atmosphere and contact medium. Include the delivery destination and target date.
Can you confirm a maximum working temperature online?
Working limits are grade- and application-specific. Exposure time, contact chemistry, atmosphere, load and thermal cycling must be reviewed before confirming suitability.
Do you work with international customers?
Yes. ITALKER prepares packaging suitable for international shipments. Delivery arrangements are defined in the quotation.
YOUR DRAWING. OUR NEXT CHALLENGE.
Let’s talk about your component.
Share the geometry and operating conditions. We’ll assess the material and manufacturing route.
